Map from Brooklyn Unplugged. Dyker Heights during Christmas is such a lovely place to be. They have people selling churros, hot coco. A lot of homes also have a donation section. Great for kids but also for adults. Cute date spot. It’s crazy how much money people spend on their home.

I went to Dyker heights back in 2016 and it was fantastic with large area full of Christmas light. Wonderful decorations and attracted so much of visitors. Time fries to December 2024 and I had a friend who visited at this time of the year, so I wanted to impress her during such a celebration time. When we got there, there weren't a lot of houses that has good decoration. Some house just put the light to be ok because they are in the area. Some house didn't decorate at all. Looked so haunted and only few people were walking. I have no idea what happened. Maybe I came too early, but it was a week before Christmas, so should it be more light?

I used to live around Dyker Heights and visited last Christmas to see the famous Christmas lights. It’s always a magical experience, with so many beautifully decorated homes and displays. The lights are still stunning, and the neighborhood really knows how to get into the holiday spirit! Although there weren’t as many lights as in previous years, it was still a wonderful sight and definitely worth the visit. It’s a perfect way to get into the festive mood. Highly recommend it if you’re in Brooklyn during the holiday season!

Dyker Heights is DEFINITELY a MUST SEE. It is MAGICAL during Christmas. Hats off to the homeowners. The houses are all beautifully decorated. Parking is difficult because it is very busy this time around. But you can stay in your car, drive by, and still enjoy those beautiful decorations. We didn't take the official tour, but drove and walked a little bit through the neighborhood. We didn't get to see all the decorations even after spending 1hr and half. Some houses have hot chocolate stand. And there's an ice cream truck in pretty much every other corner.

Beautiful display after beautiful display. So many to see. DO NOT pay for a tour. This is easy and walkable and FREE to do. Busses cannot go down the streets. The homes are amazingly built and detailed. If you love architecture…this should be on your list. I loved how so many of the residents were out and selling/giving hot cocoa, tasty bakery, French fries etc. Worth a trip!
